What is Shafer Serves?
Shafer Serves is a philanthropic program founded by Shafer Services Plus to assist San Antonio non-profits by providing them with complimentary HVAC and plumbing services. Safe temperatures and reliable running water are critical for healthy environments—especially for children and the elderly. By providing these services to San Antonio’s non-profits, Shafer Serves is able to help the members of our community who need it most.

For Shafer, providing five-star service means more than meeting air conditioning, heating, and plumbing needs. It is how quickly the company responds; the way customers are treated; providing multiple solutions whenever possible; treating customers with respect; providing top-quality products, and keeping homes and businesses safe.

Meet Celia, Shafer’s Mascot!
Celia is a retired service dog who was trained by Guide Dogs of Texas to assist the visually impaired. When the time came for her to retire, Shafer was delighted to adopt her and provide a life of love and luxury for their new family member.
Service is who we are and what guides each decision we make,” said Chase Anderson, President and CEO of Shafer Services Plus. “Welcoming Celia to the family as our beloved friend and service mascot is a reminder that we are here to serve and care for others. Her spirit is an amazing example for all of us.”
While the majority of her time will be spent napping, eating, and being spoiled—Celia will also continue to be part of the service community, joining her family at Shafer Serves projects where the team assists local non-profits by providing complimentary plumbing and HVAC services.
With Celia by their side, Shafer will continue building community and operating under their five core values: treat people like family; do the right thing, even when no one is watching; be easy to do business with; exceed expectations; and provide mutual respect for all. This enhances the value Shafer delivers to each customer and the entire community of San Antonio.
